Hoof Boots

The L-version of the Swiss Galoppers hoof boot is particularly suitable for slightly slimmer, longer hooves, pronounced bulbs and higher heels.

The boot comes with two connectors made of the same durable TPU plastic as the hoof boot. These can be individually exchanged to suit the shape of the hoof, the position of the heel and the size of the bale.

Scope of supply: one pair of hoof boots with retracted sealing straps, one pair of soft low gaiters, one pair of fetlock straps and a second shorter connector incl. assembling material.

The Swiss Galoppers hoof boot is manufactured with a two-component principle using the most cutting-edge materials, which displays high abrasion durability.

The soft components in the ball area guarantee a perfect fit. The soft bed of the innersole has a shock-absorbing effect and stops the boot from twisting on the hoof.

For slightly slimmer, longer hooves, pronounced bulbs and higher heels we recommend the L-version.

Spikes are available for both versions  of the Swiss Galoppers, standard and L-version. Spikes offer optimum grip on ice, snow or even wet, swampy and deep ground conditions. The sole of the hoof boot can be fitted with up to 6 high-quality spikes, specially developed for the Swiss Galoppers. The spikes have an abrasion-resistant tungsten carbide core. Each spike is screwed into the reinforced sole area from below and additionally glued. 

The sealing strap is made from high-quality belt and climbing material. The metal loop is made from electronically-cleaned steel.

For L-version hoof boots we recommend to choose a larger sealing strap size – eg for SG5-L hoof shoes a VB6 sealing strap is recommended.

 7 Tungsten carbide spikes for maximum grip and minimum wear. 

Offers an additional protection for sensitive horses, protects heel and fetlock.

Manufactured with a 6mm neoprene, on both sides coated with lasting nylon jersey. Assembled with Velcro straps to easily attach directly into the heel protection.

A longer fetlock strap may be required.
